Warranty Policy
By purchasing a laptop from We Sell Laptops (Pty) Ltd you are buying it ‘voetstoets’ (as it stands), in other words with all the defects outlined by the store or online shop.
If the item you purchased malfunctions, you have the entire warranty period within which to return the item.
All laptops (unless otherwise stated) come with a 12-month warranty, which can be voided for any damage sustained from improper use, abuse of the device or act of God.
No refunds or returns will be permitted without an invoice, or if the item has been tampered with or abused in any way.
Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you on the status. We Sell Laptops reserves the right to first address or repair the issue with the laptop. Should the issue re-occur multiple times after the repair, the Customer will be given the option of the laptop being replaced by a similar laptop, or a refund according to the terms and conditions set out below.
If a refund is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment. If it is a credit card refund, you will receive the credit within a certain number of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.
A fair use charge will be deducted when calculating the warranty refund, which will be calculated using the standard SARS wear and tear rates.
A R250 handling fee will be charged on refunds or returns. There will be no handling fee charged on Items returned for an upgrade.
You will be responsible for covering the transport cost involved in returning your item.
Software is covered by the warranty.
